No more room for villains

As of November fifth of 2024, the human rights activist in me has been fiercely unleashed. Why? Because what we’re going through now has never been seen in the United States of America. Starting with an evidently rigged election (which was recently admitted by the Con Trump himself at one of his tacky rallies), everything this corrupt administration has done and is doing is a violation of all our rights.

 There seems to be not a single policy of his that benefits or supports the most vulnerable — the poor, the disabled, blacks, women, minorities… we are all oppressed under his dictatorship. Forgive me, I shouldn’t say all of us. If you’re a white rich man (who kisses up to him), you’re safe. Furthermore, what policies? Remember when he said he only had “concepts of a plan”? Yep! I knew the majority of US Americans could not be this dumb to vote this sham of a man in. 

Kamala Harris won, by the way, and I will die on this hill. But don’t take my word for it; take his. Just go take a listen. Not that mainstream American news outlets have reported on it, but again, in his own words, Mr. Nazi Elon Musk helped him rig the election. (Enough with the euphemisms — let’s call each thing by their name.) The Con blatantly, brazenly, and proudly admitted to cheating. (No consequences.) He even thanked Musk publicly for going to Pennsylvania to “campaign” for him and for “knowing computers” enough to fix the results for him. What can you expect from a convicted felon and a madman? It does not get any more deplorable than that.  They’re the lowest, saddest excuse of a human.

The most powerful social media are complicit. With my own eyes, I have seen that the censorship has begun, as well as the abuse of power. TikTok, META, and Twitter are now right wing propaganda spreaders. There is a lot of fear within oppressed groups communities, and who can blame them? It breaks my heart. How can we live like this? WHO wants to live this way? And, for four grueling years?! If they don’t get their way? Not you, I bet. Not me, for sure. So, yeah, we’re going to fight back. In any way we can.

We’re resisting because this isn’t right, this isn’t good. This should not be normalized. I hate how people don’t learn from history. Humankind has been here before, and it never ends well. (There’s hope.) But somehow the tyrants think this time it might just work out for them? Those who don’t learn history are doomed to repeat it.

I believe that as much as there is evil in this administration there is good in this whole country, in this world. We’ve seen it rise. I just wish it didn’t take so long to see it again. 

So, yes, I’m going to use my small platform to spread nothing but love, support, and facts. There’s no more room for villains. There’s no more room for crass. We will keep moving forward because we can’t and won’t go back.
