    May is Lupus and Mental Health Awareness Month, and these hold a special place in my heart and life. First, let me just say that although I can’t back this up with data, maybe — just maybe — one of the reasons our collective mental health is sh*tty is because we now live in a world where almost everything is prioritized above humanity.     When it comes to war, there are no winners. I think I’ve seen enough to conclude that some humans will drive themselves to extinction, if necessary, in the name of “power,” pride, and greed. I am beyond saddened about our reality because no matter on what side of earth a war is taking place, we all pay the price one way or another.   • Row, Row Your Boat in Unison

    During my walk today, I had the time to reflect on some things: I don’t like the way things are headed right now. I know I’m not the only one. I’m a major believer in peace and in our ability to do good. The statewide protests against police brutality have shown the best and worst of humans.
