Love at Every Sight
I can’t really explain. All I know is all of my senses heighten when I see a flower, a sunset, some works of arts — although this is arguably also a work of art…by nature. And that leads me to this question: are we complementing nature when we say it is art? Art is human-made, while nature is an extraordinary force we think we know about. Worse than the Virus
After a walk on empty streets, I took a little break to appreciate the blue sky and breathe in the warm Miami air. I sat there and stared at the little birds instead; pecking at the grass, skipping, singing their birdie songs, flying. Never have I been so jealous of their freedom and lack of concern. We’re still free, but under one condition: stay the hell away from one another. This little park, normally full of families on a regular Sunday, is desolate today. Rain, Rain, Don’t Go Away
We don’t have to wish it away for it often brings renewed thoughts and stems. Sure it’s already autumn and you’d rather see the leaves fall than rain drops cause frizz and chaos. The streets filled with fast-moving folks looking for shelter for their unadventurous souls. Fire can burn, but rain; rain is my friend. There’s no more comforting, inspiring sound or view to me than the rain on my window pane.
