• Maybe just chill out

Sometimes, you give too much importance to the irrelevant. Talking about “turn the negative into positive” is always valid and encouraging advice, but how about just letting people feel what they feel at the moment? We’re constantly trying to get in people’s heads and trying to “fix it.” I might be guilty of this, to be honest. However, when giving advice, I always try to respect the thin line between positive and toxic positivity. • Playing It Safe? Break Through

It’s either a nine-to-five with a 401(k) plan, be potentially set for life (but with a side of Sour Patch), OR swim against the current for an odd chance at doing what you really want.
