But whether it was worthy or worthless, too much or too little — it was your decision. And it was important to you at some point. And, it mattered to you that you were in charge and it mattered that you had a say. So don’t look back with a regretful gaze; you got your way. Make the best of every possible outcome and make peace with your mistakes.

    I’d close my hollow eyes and see nothing of what I’d dreamed would be true when awakened from this habit, imposed by life and by a body of which I’m no longer the commander. Wanting to wake up awake, chipper again, like the old times when no thoughts of any person, nor of the routine or of some sort of feelings or worries killed the tempo.

    Sometimes we need a little help from music to make it through another day. Couldn’t imagine my life without it. One song I listen to often is “The Show” by Australian artist Lenka.
