Women Pleasers
I watched a stand up special with Iliza Schlesinger, where she was her usual hilarious self, and thought I’d add this sound to my sketch video — because it is so true! While I so want all my ladies to slayyy all the way, I do think we overdo it sometimes, maybe for fear of being labeled, as she says, a bad feminist. Or a bad friend? Nothing deep, just part of my newly oversharing phase.

We Should All Be Feminists – a TEDxTalk
Not only are fans delighted that Beyonce dropped an album on us (unexpectedly) Thursday night, but feminists are also excited that she took a stand for equality once more. Her album features a song called “Flawless” and in it, Beyonce samples parts of a TEDx speech by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I think we can all agree that Beyonce deserves praise and admiration; not only is she a hard-worker, but she’s one of the very few famous women who use their power to make a difference in a positive way.
